How Do I Get Started?
It's easy to create and begin setting up your Linkedin profile. Decide which email address you want as your primary email for Linkedin (you can have multiple email addresses, but only one primary), create your password, and you're in!
Start filling in your Linkedin profile - include a photo (use a professional headshot), a headline that briefly describes you (like a title), and select your location and industry.
Write a Summary that provides an overview of your business - what you have to offer your clients, introduction to your professional background, your products/services, and include some contact information.

How Do I Build My Network?
Import one of more of your email contacts databases. Select those individuals who know you well enough to invite without a personalized invitation.
Search by name for people you know for whom you don't have the email address they use in Linkedin.
As you make connections, look through your connections' connections to see who else you might know.
When you meet new people online or at events, ask if they are on Linkedin and if they would like to connect.
